·Enter the remote computer's name (this does not need to be exact).
·Enter the email address of the remote computer (the address the remote computer will check for RemoteCommand emails, which may be different from its standard email address).
·Password to sign all communication, which both computers will share to ensure secure communication.

3. Press Next button to specify permissions for remote computer

Since sending commands can be two-way process, i.e. the remote computer could try and send commands to this local computer, it is necessary to specify what permissions the remote computer has on this local computer.

newcomputerpermissions(256).png
If the remote computer is not expected, or not allowed, to send commands then no permission options should be selected. These permissions are overridden by the system wide configuration settings, e.g. if 'Browse local drives' is selected but the system wide configuration setting disallows browsing then browsing will not be allowed. Press the 'Configuration...' button to change the system wide configuration settings.

4. Press Next button

Now the remote computer has been setup all that's required is to send an Initialization Request.

Pressing Finish will cause the local computer to send an Initialization Request to the remote computer. Once the remote computer responds to the Initialization Request the local computer will be able to send commands to the remote computer. The example below shows In the example shown below when the computer WORK_COMPUTER was added the user specified that the remote computer would send the Initialization Request.

5. Wait for Remote Computer

On the remote computer the same Add Computer steps should be taken to add a reciprocal entry for this local computer. Then depending whether or not this computer was selected to send the Initialization Request the remote computer should do the opposite. To check on the progress of the initialization process launch the Listener to see when the Remote Computer responds.
